BREAKING NEWS - July 2012: The Federal Government has announced a half million dollar grant to help fund the new Cowra Peace Precinct which links the Japanese War Cemetery, the POW Camp, the Japanese Garden and the World Peace Bell.

This grant is on a dollar for dollar basis, with Cowra Shire Council to match this grant.

Top of the list is Cowra's excellent Japanese Garden and Cultural Centre - renowned for its beauty and tranquility.  Enjoy coffee or lunch in their lovely cafe.

Venture out by chauffer driven limosine for a tasting of Cowra Wines at the various cellar doors, sample the quality restaurants in town or play a round of golf next door.

Visit the Darby's Falls Observatory and scan the heavens for your favourite stars.
